JON SKEEN [GOALKEEPER]
Returned to the club after release in the summer. Highly rated and experienced goalkeeper. Have representative honours with his county [Gloucestershire] and the Hellenic league, His previous clubs include Cheltenham Town, F.C. Endsleigh and Banbury Utd.


SAM GILDER [GOALKEEPER]
Sam is a product of the club’s youth team and has put in some excellent displays recently including man of the match against Leamington.


SAM AVERY [DEFENDER]
Signed from Chipping Norton Town during the summer of 2006. Sam signed for Chipping Norton from Gloucester City in 2005-2006 and put in some excellent performances in the Hellenic Premier Division. Last season was an excellent season for Sam who missed very few Southern League games. Still only 18.
 
JOE EGLETON [DEFENDER/MIDFIELDER]
Signed from Gloucester United in the summer of 2004, Joe was a member of Cleeve Under 18s but impressive performances have saw his promotion to the first team squad and he has made many appearances already. Can play in defence or midfield.
 
DAN SHATFORD [DEFENDER]
Signed in the summer after his release from Cheltenham Town. Dan played the end of last season and Mangotsfield United and gained rave reviews. Still only 18 Dan is the son of former Cheltenham Town player Clive Shatford.  
 
LYNDON TOMPKINS [DEFENDER]
Signed in February 2008 from Gloucester City. Lyndon returns to the club whom he played for in 2003 and 2004 when his performances attracted the attention Gloucester City whom he signed for the third time. Also played for Witney Town and Cinderford Town.   
 
ALLTON AXTON [DEFENDER]
Signed for Cleeve in the summer from Slimbridge where he was highly rated by players and supporters gaining both Players Player and Supporters Player of the Year awards.
 
RICHARD MANSELL [DEFENDER/MIDFIELDER]
Signed from Gloucester City in March 2006. Previously with Luton Town from where he was surprisingly released in the summer of 2005. Was outstanding for Cleeve in 2006-07 gaining the Supporters Player of the Year award. Surely going to go on to greater things in the future.   


EDWARD WARD [MIDFIELDER]
Signed from Slimbridge in the summer, “Fred” has already put in some good pre-season performances. Played for Slimbridge for 5 seasons after signing from Gloucester United.


NICK WILLIAMS [MIDFIELDER]
Bishops Cleeve lad who was released by Watford in 2003 where he played for the first team in friendlies. Undoubted quality, proved his worth last season after a year away from football. Equally at home in defence or midfield.


MIKE DAVIS [MIDFIELDER]
Son of coach Mike and brother of Lee. Mike is a product of the club’s youth team and has stepped up to the first team with ease and scored on his starting debut against Gloucester City. Superb crosser of the ball.  


JOHNNY MEADOWS [MIDFIELDER]
Another to sign from Slimbridge in the summer. A key midfielder for Slimbridge after signing for them from Tuffley Rovers in 2004.  
 
MATTY COLLINS [MIDFIELDER]
Matty previously played for Bishops Cleeve Youth but played for former Hellenic League side Endsleigh before returning to Cleeve in the summer of 2005. Also had a spell with Hereford United where he played in their reserve side. Very quick, he impressed in pre-season and is a key member of the team.
 
LEE DAVIS [MIDFIELDER/FORWARD]
Signed in October 2006. Lee is a local lad and son of former coach Mike Davis. A product of Cheltenham Town Centre of Excellence Lee has also played for Cirencester Town, Gloucester City and Mangotsfield United.  
 
KEITH KNIGHT [MIDFIELDER/FORWARD]
Signed in February 2008. A former Cheltenham Town legend who set up Cheltenham Town’s winning goal on their promotion to the Football League, “Knighty” has a wealth of experience from Southern League up to Football League. As a youngster Reading signed him from Cheltenham in 1988 and he went on to become Reading’s top scorer in old Division 3. This season Keith was manager at Cinderford Town but resigned in November. A great addition to the squad.
 
MIKE RHODES [MIDFIELDER/DEFENDER]
Signed in January 2006 from Cheltenham Saracens. Can also play at the back “Spike’s” performances there last season coincided with Cleeve’s best run of the season to secure league safety. Now installed as captain after the retirement of Andy Tucker.    
 
KEVIN SLACK [FORWARD]
Rejoined Cleeve in September 2005 after a six month spell at Yate Town. Prolific goalscorer he is now in his fourth spell at the club but he always comes “home”. Scored as scored over 100 goals for Cleeve In 2004-5 he won FA Cup player of the Round for his five goals for Cleeve against Highworth in the first qualifying round and was presented to the fans on the pitch at the FA Cup Final.  
 
LUKE CORBETT [FORWARD]
Signed for Cleeve in September 2006 after his release from Gloucester City. Luke was with Cheltenham Town Youth and Reserves and has also played for Weston, Cirencester Town, Hednesford Town, Bath City and Chelmsford City. Luke has already put in some good performances and his first goal for Cleeve was a spectacular overhead kick.
 
KACEY JOHNSTONE [FORWARD]
Skilful forward who can rejoined the club in the summer after a season at Slimbridge. Kacey has also played in the Southern League for Gloucester City, Forest Green Rovers and Evesham United and has also played for Tuffley Rovers and an earlier spell at Slimbridge. Was Cleeve’s top goalscorer and Manager’s Player of the Year in 2005-06.  
 
JAMIE HAMMOND [FORWARD]
Product of the club’s youth team, Jamie’s goals in the reserves last season resulted in a call up to the first team and was on the score sheet twice.  
 
PAUL COLLICUTT [MANAGER]
Former player with Swindon Town, Trowbridge Town, Cheltenham Town, Gloucester City, Forest Green Rovers, Newport AFC and Cinderford Town. Assistant manager to Frank Gregan at Forest Green Rovers and Nick Jordan at Evesham United. Paul joined Bishops Cleeve in 1999 and has been instrumental in their on-field progress.
 
TIM BAYLIFFE [ASSISTANT MANAGER]
Former player with Cheltenham Town, Shortwood United, Cirencester Town as well as player manager of Bishops Cleeve. Played in the Conference for Cheltenham when he kept his long time friend Paul Collicutt out of the side.
 
JOHN MURPHY [COACH]
Recently joined Cleeve. Former Cheltenham Town manager and took them to the Conference, then Gola League, in 1985 where he had Cleeve manager Paul Collicutt as his Club Captain. Also managed Trowbridge Town, Gloucester City, Witney Town and Cinderford Town, his addition to the coaching staff is sure to be an asset.
 
MIKE DAVIS [COACH]
Former Cleeve player who is also born and bred in Bishops Cleeve, Mike has an excellent pedigree notably assisting Steve Cotterill at Cheltenham Town through their rise through the ranks to Division one. Was coach at Cinderford this season under Keith Knight. Their loss is most definitely Cleeve’s gain.
